Scripture encourages us, "Let us not neglect our meetings together" (Heb. 10:25) and we gather together as Christians joyfully and often. We believe that in the Word of God and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper, God is actively working in us and giving us His grace and divine gifts. Join us to receive God's gifts and respond to Him with praise!
Our worship services are centered around proclaiming God's Word and receiving the Body and Blood of Christ in the Lord's Supper. In this "church service" it is not we who serve God; it is God who serves us and gives us His grace. We follow what is often called a "traditional" service, following forms and practices the Church has used for nearly 2000 years: a liturgical format drawn from the words of Scripture, hymns accompanied by organ, a lectionary for the Scripture readings, primarily from the Lutheran Service Book. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion weekly in the joy of knowing that our Lord Jesus is giving us his true Body and Blood for the forgiveness of sins. The invitation to faith in Christ by God's grace is for all people, and you are welcome to join us during our Sunday morning worship to hear the Good News!
